Art Birthday Party

For my daughter's 3rd birthday, we went with an art theme since it's her all-time favorite pastime. We reserved some tables at an art studio and let the fun begin!

My 3 year old and I broke up some old crayons and melted them into a cupcake wrapper.

After the crayons cooled, I added a mini Playdoh on top

All wrapped up! "Cupcake" art favors!
The "cupcakes" were added to some bags that we splatter painted. I affixed sticky backed chalkboard paper to the front and wrote each child's name in chalk. the bags were filled with fun art supplies and a cardboard frame to decorate.
The bags were held closed with a paint brush
Some art palette cookies were also added.
Here is the table display with her banner in the back. Each letter was put on a dowel and inserted into plaster of paris and held up in a cute pail. This was done since I wasn't sure if there would be a place to hang a banner.

the Happy Birthday part of the banner
Chocolate dipped pretzels in the back, tie dyed cupcakes, and rice crispy balls dipped in candy melts set on paint palettes.
